The laboratory "Language Dynamics" has expertise in different areas of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, diachrony), which permits an interdisciplinary approach often based on international collaborations.
We have established partnership with Acquisition and Cognition (H. Jisa, S. Kern), one of the four research teams, but we have not ruled out the possibility of collaborating with other members of the group who work on language description, typology and categorization. The partnership with the Acquisition and Cognition team enabled us to take the NIMH corpus, constituted at Brown University (K. Demuth) as a starting point.
